Distance education and online learning provide an affordable and convenient learning platform for current and aspiring professionals to effectively balance continuing education and graduate-level studies with work, family life, and other priorities.
Whether they are interested in ecology, conservation or management, our students can find a flexible program within the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment that will allow them to achieve work/life balance while pursuing their natural resource-focused career goals.
The school currently offers an online non-thesis Master of Natural Resources (MNR) degree that can be tailored to a student’s interest and online graduate certificate programs in Restoration Ecology, Forest Finance and Investment, and One Health.

Online Master of Natural Resources
The Master of Natural Resources (MNR) degree is an interdisciplinary
course-based graduate program that can be tailored to an individual’s career interests and goals. Highly applicable to industry and specific issues, the 30 credit hour program will enhance their educational credentials and increase their knowledge and skills in the realm of natural resources.
Online Graduate Certificates
Graduate certificate programs provide a convenient platform for working professionals to build their knowledge and expertise within a specialized area while attending to day-to-day responsibilities. A graduate certificate may advance an individuals career and can be applied to a graduate degree at a later time.
