student ambassador group volunteers to serve at SFWS events

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering within the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment is an excellent way for students to gain valuable hands-on learning experience, develop new friendships, enhance their leadership skills, build their resumes, and network with future employers and industry professionals.

In addition to the many volunteer opportunities available with CFWE research laboratories and student clubs and organizations, students may enjoy helping with community programs and nature hikes at the CFWE Kreher Preserve and Nature Center, or assisting the CFWE with communications, marketing, and events.

Whatever area a student chooses, volunteer experiences have clear benefits for personal and professional development, leading to a more enriching college experience and a more successful job search after graduation.
