Dixon Legend 5k, 10k and Half-Marathon Trail Run

The College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment hosts the Dixon Legend 5K, 10K, and half-marathon race each year at the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center located in Andalusia, AL. Located adjacent to the Conecuh River and National Forest, this race offers a challenge for all fitness levels as runners traverse the property’s network of dirt roads and trails through upland hardwood forests, across stream bottoms, and through the rolling hills of the Center’s Longleaf Pine ecosystems. Registration fees vary and include a t-shirt and snacks. All race proceeds benefit the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center.
