Jamie leads the college’s communications and marketing initiatives to promote its teaching, research, and outreach programs within the Auburn University community and beyond.

Jessica manages the Forest Health Dynamics Laboratory and assists graduate and undergraduate students with their projects.

Elizabeth provides administrative support for the CFWE business office and the Southern Forest Nursery Management Cooperative.

Ashley is responsible for serving as a valuable resource for students, faculty, and employers. She assists with career fairs, job and internship postings, and academic advising while supporting students’ engagement in academic internships.

Chico manages and facilitates all grounds maintenance and property recreation at Crooked Oaks Farm in Notasulga, Alabama.

Susan provides office and administrative support and facilitates the operation of a full-service kitchen/cafeteria and housekeeping staff at the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center.

Lucas helps students navigate their degree requirements, understand university policies and procedures, and connect with campus resources.

Michelle oversees the CESURI website and is responsible for its outreach activities and extramural grant proposals for outreach.

Sarah coordinates and teaches educational programs at the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center including school field trips, community education events, and KPNC initiatives such as Forest Friends and Woodland Wonders Nature Preschool.

Heather is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the college’s development efforts, including major gift, annual fund, planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns.

Paula supervises and directs the school’s fiscal and business operations and serves as the chief financial information officer for all faculty and staff.

Ginger serves as director of undergraduate student services and student advisor.

Alex manages annual giving programs and supports the development officer in obtaining major gifts.

Kris provides administrative support for the USGS Alabama Coop Fish & Wildlife Research Unit.

Elizabeth supports the CFWE development office in obtaining major gifts.

Responsibilities: Gilbert assists in all levels of forest management of the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center, including the management of its 5,350 acres, the center’s GIS system, and the facilitation of activities and instruction for user groups.

Suanne reconciles AU Visa expenses, collects registration fees, and processes travel reimbursements and mileage distribution for state owned vehicles.

Audrey provides administrative and technical assistance to the Associate Dean of Research and helps to facilitate graduate student education from application to graduation.

N.L. leads the staff and operations at Crooked Oaks Farm in Notasulga, Alabama.

Gina assists in maintaining budget files and financial records of contracts and grant awards and provides general administrative support to Business and Financial Services.

Kayleigh provides executive assistance to the Dean and serves as the Dean’s liaison to CFWE faculty, staff and students, University administration, and external constituents.

Shelly is the CFWE HR liaison representative assisting faculty, staff, and students with all of their human resources needs.

Kelly leads digital strategy and creative direction across platforms for the Alabama Extension FWNR team. For CFWE, she manages a diverse graphic design portfolio to deliver cohesive and impactful visual materials.

Dr. Kush performs research related to forest stand dynamics, fire ecology, and restoration ecology; teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in these subject areas; and is an affiliate faculty with the Office of University Writing.

Brooke coordinates the recruitment and transition of new students from high schools and two year institutions and organizes special events for the school.

Victoria supports the daily operations and logistics at Crooked Oaks Farm in Notasulga, Alabama.

Carolina assists the faculty with preparing and submitting grant proposals as well as monitoring and reporting on the financial progress of awarded grants as they are administered.

As part of the Auburn Forest and Fire Ecology Lab, Tamara researches the effects of disturbance and management on forest carbon dynamics.

Michael assists in monitoring accounts to ensure funds are available for expenditures, creates purchase orders and processes invoice payments, manages office supply inventory and orders, and is responsible for leave entry and payroll for all CFWE employees.

Chad manages research operations at the Deer Research Laboratory facility in Camp Hill, Ala., and assists graduate students with current projects. His primary research interests include ungulate reproductive ecology and wildlife census methods.

Donald provides support at the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center with timber inventory, timber sale preparation, prescribed fire, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Payne plans and conducts field research and disseminates information related to herbicide use, weed control and other production issues in bareroot and container nurseries for the Southern Forest Nursery Management Cooperative.

Preston oversees forest management practices and operations on all Auburn University forestlands.

Cole supports the college’s communication and marketing efforts, driving engagement across various platforms, particularly through strategic social media initiatives and the development of compelling written and visual content.

Dominique is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CFWE’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. She also collaborates with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and troubleshoot issues.

Michelle oversees the daily operations of the CFWE building and property which includes asset management, inventory, insurance, phones, issuing building access and coordinating the set-up of internal and external CFWE events and moves. Michelle also manages the vehicle safety program and the CFWE fleet.

Andrew maintains and develops solutions for the school’s system administration, information security, software development, and technical support needs.

Dustyn provides support at the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center with timber inventory, timber sale preparation, prescribed fire, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Seamus serves as the first point of contact for Tier 1 AV and technical support for the IT group, while also assisting the rest of the IT team in their responsibilities.

Rong researches remote sensing as it relates to land use, land cover change, and forest as well as plant pathology.
