Outreach

Engaging Citizens Through Education and Leisure

The College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment outreach efforts serve to educate and engage members of the public and private sectors regarding natural resources related issues. Our outreach programs engage thousands each year through programs offered throughout the region and at the College’s Kreher Preserve & Nature Center and the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center.

CFWE faculty and staff regularly partner with other departments, agencies, schools, and not-for-profits to offer K-12 and postsecondary educational programs, skill development workshops and technical seminars, field training exercises, research project assistance, and community programs.
