Hotel and Travel Information

Auburn is a small, friendly university town in the rolling hills of east central Alabama, with a population around 60,000. It is conveniently located along Interstate 85, less than 60 miles northeast of Alabama’s capital city of Montgomery; about 30 miles northwest of Columbus, Georgia; and 100 miles southwest of Atlanta. The conference will be held at the newly renovated Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center, where you will enjoy a discounted room rate. Directions

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center is centrally located three miles from Interstate 85. Most out-of-state attendees will fly into the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA, which is an hour and 45 minutes north of Auburn. Atlanta is in the Eastern Time zone, and Auburn is an hour behind in the Central Time zone.

Airports

Auburn is centrally located to many international airports, including Birmingham  and Montgomery, AL, as well as Atlanta and Columbus, GA. Travel times vary depending on traffic and time of day.
