First Floor and Grounds

From the EBSCO Atrium, students and visitors may exit to the Jeff Butler Patio that provides open meeting space and an outdoor classroom before descending to the 50-foot diameter copper-roofed Van Cleave Pavilion, which serves as an outdoor function space for faculty, staff, students and visitors meeting within the adjacent Conference Hall. Beyond the terrace and pavilion, the property extends to an 11-acre tract of forestland called Weagle Woods. Here, students receive instruction and participate in management and trail-building projects.
