Global Perspectives: Advancing Towards a Sustainable Future with Cellulose-based Innovations Research Symposium

The Sustainable Bio-based Materials Lab in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment (CFWE) will host a mini research symposium on Monday, March 25, from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Room 1101 of the Forestry, Wildlife and Environment Building.

The symposium titled “Global Perspectives: Advancing Towards a Sustainable Future with Cellulose-based Innovations” will feature six speakers from across the globe with backgrounds and expertise in sustainability and bio-based engineering. Faculty, students, and the public are invited to attend this program. Advanced registration is not required. Parking is available on the third and fourth floors in the South Quad Parking Deck across from the CFWE Building on Duncan Drive. For more information about the symposium, please contact Dr. Maria Soledad Peresin, associate professor of forest biomaterials in the CFWE.
