SUMMARY:Online Master of Forest Business and Investment Virtual Open House
DESCRIPTION:  \nAuburn University has established a new online Master of Science degree program within the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences designed for working forestry professionals seeking business expertise for career advancement. The new forest business and investment degree\, or FBI\, is the first online business degree created to serve the unique needs of the forest industry. \nThe FBI program is designed to build upon a student’s forestry knowledge while providing expertise in business\, finance\, and investments specific to the forest industry. Students without a forestry background will gain forest industry-specific skills through a blended curriculum. To introduce the program\, Auburn University is hosting a virtual open house for prospective students on Dec. 8\, 2021\, from 6 – 7 p.m. CT. \nDuring the open house\, Auburn faculty will provide a general overview of the curriculum and details about admissions requirements\, tuition and fees\, and next steps for enrollment. After the program overview\, participants can join small group breakout rooms for a question-and-answer sessions with faculty. Attendees should register online to receive a Zoom link for the open house to be provided via email on Dec. 7. \nThose unable to attend may learn more about the program by contacting Dr. Jessica Daniel\, the school’s online graduate program coordinator\, at jrd0084@auburn.edu or submitting a request for information online.
