Expertise: Peresin specializes in the isolation and functionalization of bio-based polymers for the development of value added materials from renewable biomass for novel applications, surface chemistry and interactions of plant cell wall components.
Teaching Responsibilities: Biopolymers for Biomaterials & Packaging; Sustainable Biomaterials and Product Development; Frontiers for Sustainable Biomaterials and Biopolymers for Sustainable Materials; and Colloids and interfaces physical chemistry.

Research Interests: Her research interests include biopolymers interfacial phenomena, structure-function relationship between agri-forest feedstock and natural polymers performance, nanocomposites, nanotechnology and materials, polymers, colloidal and surface science.
